#813 - "Cinnamon Apple Season" by Bajè Whitethorne, Sr.

This copy appears on the inside upper portion of the card:

Living in a remote area of Navajo Land, winter could become a time of isolation, but each year a trader would come to the end of the road and bring apples to the family. Grandma would slice apples, sprinkle them with cinnamon, and bake them on the stove, covered with an iron skillet. Cinnamon apples were a memorable treat for the family on a winter's day.

VERSE:
May you walk in beauty on a rainbow trail and dwell in the house of happiness with beauty all around you.
